- Platform Overview
RefAyiti is an e-commerce platform that aims to connect the Haitian community in Haiti and the diaspora by providing a marketplace for individuals and businesses to buy and sell products. We offer delivery services to customers in Canada and the United States. Our platform brings together a diverse range of shops representing the Haitian community, both in Haiti and abroad.
- Seller Registration and Shop Opening
2.1 Eligibility: Sellers who can deliver their products to customers in the United States and Canada are welcome to open a shop on RefAyiti. Sellers must also be willing to fulfill orders with a total value exceeding $25 USD.
2.2 Free Shop Opening: We offer sellers the opportunity to open a shop on RefAyiti free of charge. Sellers can showcase their products, reach a broader audience, and increase their sales potential.
- Payment and Commission
3.1 Payment Disbursement: Sellers will receive their earnings within 5 business days after the successful delivery of the product. We provide secure and reliable payment methods, including bank transfers and PayPal, to facilitate smooth transactions.
3.2 Commission: RefAyiti charges a commission fee of 5% on each sale made through the platform. This commission is deducted from the total sales amount before the disbursement to the seller. The commission covers the operational costs of maintaining and improving the platform to benefit both sellers and customers.
- Secure Platform and Marketing Support
4.1 Platform Security: At RefAyiti, we prioritize the security of our platform and the protection of sensitive information. We employ industry-standard security measures to ensure that transactions and data remain safe.
4.2 Marketing and Promotion: We provide sellers with marketing tools and support to help them promote their products effectively. Through targeted campaigns, social media exposure, and other marketing strategies, we strive to enhance the visibility and success of our sellers.
4.3 Payment Methods: RefAyiti offers various payment methods to customers, including credit card payments, Bitcoin, and Moncash. This allows for convenient and secure transactions, catering to the preferences of different customers.
- Seller Responsibilities
5.1 Product Listing and Descriptions: Sellers are responsible for accurately representing their products on RefAyiti. This includes providing detailed and truthful product descriptions, high-quality images, and any necessary information that customers may require to make informed purchase decisions.
5.2 Order Fulfillment: Sellers should promptly process and fulfill orders received through RefAyiti. It is essential to maintain clear and open communication with customers regarding shipping, tracking, and delivery updates.
5.3 Customer Support: Sellers are expected to provide excellent customer service. This includes promptly responding to customer inquiries, addressing any concerns or issues, and handling returns or exchanges in a fair and professional manner.
- RefAyiti’s Objective
RefAyiti’s primary objective is to create a unique platform that enables Haitians and international customers to purchase authentic Haitian products. By supporting local businesses and artisans, we aim to preserve and promote the cultural heritage and economic growth of Haiti.
- Buyer Protection
To ensure buyer protection, RefAyiti operates a system where funds are held until 5 days after the delivery of the product. This allows customers to inspect the received product and report any issues or disputes within a reasonable timeframe. The delayed disbursement of funds provides an opportunity for customers to resolve concerns in a fair and satisfactory manner.
- Amendments to the Terms
RefAyiti reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the RefAyiti platform. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
- Intellectual Property
RefAyiti respects intellectual property rights and expects sellers to do the same. Sellers must ensure that they have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to sell the products they list on the platform. Any infringement of intellectual property rights will be taken seriously, and RefAyiti reserves the right to remove any infringing content from the platform.
- Termination
RefAyiti reserves the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of sellers or customers who violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. RefAyiti also reserves the right to remove any product listings or content that violates intellectual property rights, applicable laws, or the platform’s policies.
- Limitation of Liability
RefAyiti strives to provide a reliable and secure platform, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or freedom from errors or technical issues. RefAyiti shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising from the use of RefAyiti shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Haiti. Any legal actions or proceedings shall be exclusively brought in the courts of Haiti.
- Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable or invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RefAyiti regarding your use of the platform and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations.
